We use factory-level scan tools, OEM software, lab scopes, and years of specialized experience to trace problems to their root cause — not just the symptom. We come to your shop, work the problem methodically, and leave you with a clear diagnosis and direction for the repair.

This isn't a service we offer in volume. We intentionally limit the number of diagnostic jobs we take on so that every vehicle gets the focused attention complex problems demand. When you schedule a diagnostic with us, you're getting dedicated expertise — not a tech splitting attention between five bays.

The Problem Must Be Reproducible

We do not diagnose intermittent issues that cannot be duplicated. If the problem cannot be reproduced within the first 10 minutes of our diagnostic session, we do not proceed. Accurate diagnosis requires observable symptoms — and we won't charge you for guesswork.

Tip: If the issue comes and goes, document when and under what conditions it occurs. We can schedule when it's most likely to present.

Diagnostic Fee Applies to All Visits

Our diagnostic fee applies for every on-site visit, even if the issue cannot be duplicated during our session. This accounts for the time, travel, and expertise involved in each appointment. We make every effort to confirm the concern beforehand to avoid this scenario.

Availability Is Limited

We accept a limited number of diagnostic jobs per week. This isn't artificial scarcity — it's how we ensure every job gets the time and focus it needs. Complex diagnostics can't be rushed. We recommend reaching out as early as possible to secure a spot.

What types of diagnostic issues do you handle?
We specialize in complex electrical and electronic diagnostics — the problems that other shops and general repair facilities can't solve. This includes drivability concerns, communication faults, parasitic draws, network issues, sensor and actuator failures, and intermittent electrical problems that can be consistently reproduced.
Do you diagnose intermittent problems?

How much does a diagnostic session cost?

What should I have ready before your tech arrives?
Have the vehicle accessible with a charged battery, any prior repair history or diagnostic notes available, and a clear description of the symptom — including when it occurs, what conditions trigger it, and any recent work performed on the vehicle. The more information you provide, the more efficient the diagnostic session will be.
Do you perform the repair after diagnosing the issue?
Our focus is on diagnosis, not repair. We identify the root cause, provide a detailed report with our findings, and give your shop clear direction on what needs to be fixed. Your team handles the repair. For module programming, ADAS calibration, or key-related work that comes out of a diagnostic, we can handle those as separate services.
What tools and equipment do you use?
We carry factory-level scan tools, OEM software subscriptions, lab scopes, multimeters, and specialized diagnostic equipment. Our tooling goes well beyond what most general repair shops have access to, which is why shops call us for the jobs their equipment can't solve.
